Mr. Bell bought a few acres of land north of Manchester with a view to grazing cattle and sheep. Once the land was cleared and tidied he realised he had an old caravan on his land which had obviously been there for many years. This caravan prompted a dream that Mr. Bell had to live on his own smallholding. Following various meetings, negotiations and correspondence with the local Planning Department Mr. Bell ultimately acquired a Certificate of Lawfulness to change the old caravan to a brand new park home.
Mr. Bell's first port of call was Lissett Homes to discuss the possibilities of creating their dream family home to meet the requirements of his wife and two young sons. The result was a 65' x 22' bespoke lodge designed by Mrs. Bell with help from her 12 and 10 year old sons who designed their rooms for today but also allowing for their future needs as teenagers and young adults.
The result is a stunning bespoke lodge with a large wraparound balcony with French doors from both the sitting room and master bedroom, both with magnificent views. The home incorporates many special features including a grey water collection system for the toilets and washing machine. Mrs. Bell also insisted on using Canexcel exterior cladding which not only looks good, it's maintenance free for fifteen years.
Lissett has helped create a dream home in a perfect setting, surrounded by their beloved animals and so say all the Bell family.
