Extra Farm Accommodation in Essex

Swallow Nest Farm lies in the heart of rural Essex. The farm extends over 600 acres and is a mixed unit of arable land and a herd of Friesian cows. The farm is owned by John and Anne Bowers and has been in John's family for three generations. As John approached retirement, provision needed to be put in place for his newly married son, Richard to take over the running of the running of the farm and to provide somewhere for he and his wife to live. A Planning Application was made for a mobile home to be sited on the farm.

The planners looked favourably on the application and the custom designed home for Richard and his new wife is now in situ. One of the requirements stipulated by the planners was for a particular colour and cladding to blend in with the local environment.

As you will see from the photograph, Lissett were able to supply the required finish to the satisfaction of the local planning authority.
